Sorel Maribel Winter Boots - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

These boots seem really nice, but too large for me. I put in an insole and still too large even with thick wool socks. Haven't had a chance to really wear them, it's been in the 40's and 50's since I received them. Hopefully, winter isn't over yet, so I can try them out.

Love them, they are too cute, and everybody thinks they are clogs!

Very warm with only a thin pair of socks. I usually have cold feet so they were comfortable indoors as well. Seemed to breathe well and were true to size. Light and not bulky.

They are warm, comfortable, and waterproof so far. The 8 is a tiny bit roomy. I've worn them many times in rain and icy weather. I hope the waterproofing holds up. Other boots' waterproofing has worn off after one winter season. It's true that the Sorels are kind of short, so you can't tuck pants into them. They're like short cowboy boots at the top. If you wear tight pants, that should be ok. I got these for winter dog walks, and they are good for that.

This boot works in worst weather without getting feet or socks wet. And, unlike other boots I've bought, my socks do NOT slip down in these! What a relief. I can't tell you how many times I've taken off my boots to find a scrunched up pair of socks on my feet (and it's awful when they start to slip down when I'm walking). Excellent tread and very waterproof. I own 2 pairs and am sad that Sorel is no longer making these. Sorel is the best manufacturer ever for truly waterproof boots with ice-proof tread... But then, we knew that Canadians know what real weather conditions are!

It is a gift for my daughter who intend to travel to Europe. She loves these winter boots because it is stylish and comfortable. We trust "Sorel' which provides the best quality.

Lovely boots, but just too narrow for my wide feet. I would recommend only if you have narrow feet.

The zipper pull broke off on one of the boots after about a half dozen uses. Hard to get on and off. Don't buy it.

I bought these last year in 9 1/2 size based on what other reviewers had written about ordering 1/2 size larger. I sent them back for a 9. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 (my rt foot is longer) and these still feel a little big. I think I could have gotten an 8 1/2. However, I wore my homemade socks with them and they felt great for long walks on snowy winter days. I look forward to wearing them this winter. they are waterproof and warm.

These boots look good compared to other inclement-weather footwear; I don't know how waterproof they are, but they are warm, lightweight and possess good traction. The side zipper allows for easy on/off, the dark-brown color is rich, and the boots themselves are understated. I got a size nine because 8 1/2 was unavailable, but (perhaps because of the insulation and the faux-fur lining) they fit fine (with even a bit of room for thick socks).
