“I had these shipped directly to my mother so I have never actually seen them in person. Last night she called to tell me how much she loves them. After years of living in Birkenstock sandals year-round, she finally has boots that don't rub her toes raw. She uses them for casual steep-terrain hiking in her mountainous backyard and for everyday use. While she was walking in the woods, she was delighted to see how the dirt falls out of the tread as she walks, so dirt does not clog the treads and track into the house. If only ALL shoemakers would be so considerate!”
