Reviewed by The Fashionista College Student from Iowa on Tuesday, January 7, 2014Love these boots! These are great for walking around school campus! My feet stay nice and dry. These boots are pretty warm and toasty, especially in the midwestern winters. However they do not retain the warmth needed for spending time outdoors for more than 30 or so minutes, my toes seem to get cold. But overall they do keep feet warm and dry. The heel of this boot is surprisingly comfy and easy to walk in and I don't even like to wear heels! These boots are also not very bulky at all! They look cute with a lot of outfits, even with dresses! Pair it with a oversized scarf, warm leggings, and a sweater and you're set! They slip on and slip off easy for connivence as well! Love them! I have been wearing them everyday now. I would say these boots run small. I wear a 5.5/6 and i got a 6. At first, I thought they were a bit tight but they have stretched a bit and now they fit perfectly! Sierra Trading Post has also surprised me with their customer service! I've called the customer service 3 times and all three times customer service has been wonderfully nice and helpful! The problem got resolved as fast as possible. I will be recommending them! WIll buy again from these guys! Thanks so much!
Reviewed by jamie from Illinois on Tuesday, December 3, 2013I really love these boots - very warm and extremely cute. I get a LOT of compliments on them, and on warmer days am a little sad that I don't get to wear them. I will say that there are a couple of things I don't totally love - first of all, they are a little bit heavy for me, and add a lot of bulk. Definitely not boots you can bike in. I don't know if that's a real criticism, since they are winter boots and you wouldn't expect that anyway, but I thought I would mention it. My other complaint is that the tongue is super weird, there's no way to make it lie flat so it always has to be kind of cinched together in a way that looks just a bit messy to me. Other than that, they're wonderful for cold days, snow, rain, etc
Reviewed by Memphis Girl from Memphis on Tuesday, December 3, 2013In trying to decide which Sorels to purchase from STP, I nearly didn't order these.
I ended up with Joan of Arctic, Tofino, and these Slimpack styles.
I end up wearing these Slimpack all the time!
They are very easy to slip on and comfortable.
I like them all, but these are my go-to Sorels most of the time.
Thank you STP.
Reviewed by Ashley T from Wyoming/Utah on Monday, November 25, 2013Very comfortable boots; I was worried about ordering a size up but did and it's correct! I wear a size 8-81/2, ordered a 9 and they fit perfect. I really like the heal, it adds a little umph and is actual wood- It was the first thing my boyfriend pointed out and said is his favorite part. Overall great boot, would recommend to anyone who wants a warm, short, cute boot.
Reviewed by Grandma Bev from Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday, March 8, 2013I like the classic Sorel pac look. These don't have removable wool liners like the ones I bought 25 years ago, but they are lighter, and seem just as warm. Easy on and off. These have more of a heel than my old ones, but so far they seem pretty stable walking on snow and uneven ground. Great treads. I usually wear an 8-1/2 but ordered 9's as advised, and like the fit. My toes have enough wiggle room to keep circulation going. If these last for 25 years, I'm all set.
Question & Answer
“I have to get a boot that is COMPLETELY LINED WITH FUR - i have had trouble with boots that are partially lined with fur and then the remainder is cardboard especially on the toe of the boot and because of that I have to put gape on top of my foot so when I wear the boots they do not irriate the skin. Not sure if taht makes sense to you but most of the boots with the heel as shown do not have complete fur inside and either the heel is cardboard that was a boot I got last year and this year the boot in the front part of the foot toes etc is cardboard so of course not comfortable.
what is the return polciy on these boots if they do not fit etc.”
This boot is not completely lined in fur. It is lined approx. half the way down the shaft but the rest of the lining is very soft, no cardboard. You can read about our returns policy at the bottom of our home page under customer service.
The boots have a gusseted tongue.
