These boots are my go to boots when it is cold and/or raining. I love the stylish leather upper but just be aware that the leather upper is not waterproof so I wouldn't recommend wearing them in deep snow. But for those wet and dreary days they are great. I even wear them when it is a nice but co...

Have had these for 8 months, I live in Alaska. Nice rain boots for spring, fall and summer. I use them for everything when it's wet out. From working outside to shopping. They are a high boot but cannot be used for crossing streams or deep puddles due to the decorative holes in the upper part of the boot. If I could cross streams and trudge through deep puddles while salmon fishing Ex... I would give these boots 5 stars. But, 4 stars it is.

There is no bulletproof answer to this and it depends on how you want the boot to fit. I didn't buy them a size smaller! In my case a size smaller would have been out of the question. I was going back and forth on this one, too, and I would have gotten an 8, but I wanted the black ones and they only had them in a 9 so that's what I ended up purchasing and I am glad that I did. I am a true size 9/9.5 US which equals 40 European and that's what I bought, a size 9US/40EU and they fit well, with enough room for wool socks. If I would have bought smaller, I might have had less room around my foot (it is quite spacious with regular socks), but I am certain my toes would be hitting the front of the boot for sure. However, people with a size 7 might have a different opinion on this one. I hope that offers some insight, I am sorry if it doesn't, but I tried! Good luck!

These boots do not list a temperature rating but with thick socks could be warm enough to trudge through the snow. The lining is a light to medium thickness and covers the whole interior of the boot to add some warmth.

Not likely. Too big and bulky.
