I hate wet feet in footwear, so I bought these to replace the various leather waterproof boots I have been using at my horse boarding property. Most of the leather boots have lasted anywhere from 3 to 6 months. The Sorellingtons have lasted exactly 7 months. However I wore them everyday since getting them without having to treat and re-treat them like I would leather boots. Also the Sorellingtons on sale cost 40 % less than the least costly leather boots tested. My feet were never sore and never hurt no matter how long I was in these working on the property. To look at them at the end of their life, you would not think they need to be thrown out except that the have started to let water seep in around the toe box at the grass line height in the pastures - I hate wet feet in footwear! So I have ordered 2 more of these that should see me through 1 year at least. I went with other reviews that said they ran 1/2 size large and true to width and it was true for me. Tractions can be iffy sometimes on dirty wet concrete. Would rate this 5 starts if it lasted a true year.

  • Question “What kind of arch support is in this boot, and if minimal, will orthotics fit in it?”
Asked on 10/10/2012 12:00:00 AM by Karen the Artist from Pennsylvania
    • Answer I found these quite supportive and good for standing/walking. I usually wear a 9 and the 9 fits with a cushioned sock. Unless you have a very high volume foot I would think an orthotic would fit.

  • Question “are these insulated?”
Asked on 12/7/2011 12:00:00 AM by Kato from Ohio
    • Answer The Sorel Sorellington Graphic boots are not insulated.
Answered on 12/7/2011 12:00:00 AM by Prod. Spec. Ryan from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer No they are not insulated. You would need to get some of those rain boot liners. I would buy a half size bigger if you were going to do that, as they are comfortable with thin socks only.

  • Question “Is the fit of the Sorellington the same as the Sorel winter Pac boots? Since half sizes aren't available, I'm guessing that's the case, but I'm not sure whether to order up or down since I'm generally an 8.5!”
Asked on 11/18/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer According to our fit models half sizes should order down.

    • Answer Yes, these boots can be used in the snow, and they come with a bonded felt frost plug (the lining) to keep your feet warm, too.
