toggle broke immediately

I just wanted something handy for everyday winter, shoveling, mailbox, cute enough for in public. As soon as I put these on I thought, Now This is something I will reach for all the time! But the toggle loop pulled right out the second time I even tried it on deciding which pair to keep. Another reviewer had the same thing. Too bad, they seemed nice, then pop. Fit, I wear 9.5 but got a 10 and they were snuggish, in a good non-sloppy way with just normal socks. Ankle more loose of course in a normal step-in boot way. I might try the non-toggle Sukas but these are 100x cuter, sigh.
