Just received my boots today and wore them out for a short errand to the grocery store. I ordered these to replace my bearpaw shearling boots which lasted a whole 1 1/3 seasons at which the sole on my right boot cracked all the way across and through the foot bed making for a very wet foot.

My daughter absolutely loves these boots. They are so warm and comfortable. They work very well as snow boots, but are fashionable enough to go with jeans or leggings if the weather is cold outside. We actually ended up buying a couple of sizes bigger so she could have them next winter. The insole is very squishy. They are also waterproof. I did have to spray them with some more waterproofer since she has worn them almost every day for several months. But, like all other Sorels if you take care of them they can last forever. I have some that are five years old, but still look brand new.

These boot's look really good. I wear a size 5 and they fit perfect. I have no trouble pulling these on and they r comfortable also. I would highly recommend these boots.

I love this boots, but unfortunately it was made too narrow "no zipper" or opening to get your feet down pass the ankle area "smh". I'm anti- uggs, so was hoping this could be the 1 -_- ...

    Sucks-

    Very disappointed-

I wear these without socks--which I have never done with a pair of boots--and my feet stay warm and cozy. It's like wearing slippers but better.

I bought these boots for a vacation in Jackson Hole and Yellow Stone Park. Was walking though snow up and down mountains and I could believe how warm and comfortable these boots were. I was submerged in snow up to my knees and never once did my feet feel cold. Walking for hours through Yellow Stone and they were as comfortable as a sneaker. Highly recommend these

Ask a Question
  • “What is the insulation on this product in grams?”
Asked by Katie from Unknown on 1/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
    • These boots are insulated with a shearling lining. The manufacturer would not have a insulation weight. Weight of insulation in grams is usually used when a boot uses a polyester insulation like Thinsulate.

About Sorel

Canadians know a thing or two about cold weather, so it's not surprising they were behind one of the most popular cold-weather boots ever created. Sorel - founded in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1962 - is perhaps best known for the ubiquitous Caribou, a boot that pioneered the use of a unique material that reflected heat back to the foot. This reflective material was incorporated into Sorel's advanced four-layer construction process that includes a weather-resistant shell, wicking liners and ThermoPlus® felt inner liners to keep feet dry and toasty. Now nearly a century old, Sorel continues to meet the rigorous demands of today's active lifestyles - from snowmobiling to snowshoeing, sledding to skiing - with its highly respected line of footwear and apparel.
