Verified Buyer Reviewed by dweller from La Conner on Wednesday, January 2, 2013Son really loves these boots. He is thrilled to be wearing "the same type as you dad". The cushion insoles are very warm and great on long hikes in the snow.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by farnorth from Anchorage, AK on Monday, December 3, 2012My son took these out this weekend on a 6 mile scout winter camping outing. We unexpectedly hit minus 22, and after stomping around a bit in the morning to warm his toes, my sons feet stayed warm through the day- high of minus 6. Was surprised that there was no insole under the removable foot liner (a must to dry feet), which I should have checked on and added, the surprise being that without such his feet stayed warm.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tahoe Mom from Lake Tahoe, NV on Sunday, November 25, 2012We live at Tahoe, and I've only bought my boys Sorels; in fact, the whole family has them. What I like about these as opposed to the Yoot style (faux fur top) is that there is a cinch at the top of the nylon, keeping out the snow and slop better, versus a cinch on the shaft. We also like the grippy bottom vs the traditional Sorel sole.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MamaJ from Rochester, NY on Wednesday, October 31, 2012I got these in pink for my 11-yr-old daughter, and she loves them. They have nice wide openings, so feet slide in easily, and they cinch up around the ankle and calf however needed. They are roomy enough for thick socks. She has worn them on a couple rainy, muddy hikes so far this fall, and they will be her snow boots this year. Warm, waterproof, sturdy Sorel's!
