I went to Nome to see my partner finish the Iditarod. The temps were 0-20 degrees above zero, and the boots were perfect. While I didn't mark the "stylish" category, I'd say that they are like the sport utility of boots - not unstylish, but more focused on utility (which is what I wanted).

Great, all-around winter boot. Keeps the feet dry & warm for hours. I like the fact that they don't have removable liners. Even though they are not heavy, I would have liked them to be even a bit lighter. GREAT value for the price!

I love these boots. I wear them everyday here in Central New York. We get lots of snow. I also wear them for snowshoeing. The run a bit bigger than my 10yo Columbias that just gave up the ghost. They do fit okay with wool socks. They are much narrower build than the Columbias, while making more room for the foot inside, which makes them easier to walk in. I wear a 6 1/2 in sneakers, my Colunbias were a 7 1/2 and i ordered a 7 1/2 in these. A 7 would have sufficed with wool socks and all.

I bought the whole family a pair before our trek to Vermont and we had all conditions. Rani, wet, snowy cold... These boots were what we wore everywhere. (unless in special boots like snowboard etc.) They were awesome! Highly recommend. Very comfortable also.

I bought these for working outdoors (sometimes as low as -10) on a farm. My last boots didn't cut it, my feet were always very cold. While my feet still get cold, even with my thick "hunting socks," that mainly happens when I'm standing for long periods outdoors. Overall, I'm happy with the boots, though while walking in town the soles can be slippery - I fell once in a parking structure. The soles seem harder/more plasticky than my fabulous, grippy zip-up North Face snow boots. I was wary of ordering shoes online since I sometimes wear 8.5 and sometimes 9. Per previous reviews I ordered 8.5 and have room for thick winter socks. Good fit, great buy for the price.
