She needed a pair of winter boots that would be waterproof, warm, with some grip and look fairly stylish; she found them in these boots. They are great, despite their style they look very small on (she wears a size 6 and they fit perfectly). The plaid looks great and even in single digit temperatures and a 2 mile walk in ankle deep snow her feet stayed warm; what more could you ask for? We've always have good luck with Sorel boots and here's another example of why.

I bought these boots for an Illinois winter, but ended up breaking them in during a cold, snowy weekend in the Twin Cities, with a high of 2 the whole time. They kept my feet dry, and looked cute over skinny jeans. I also wore them under dress pants for church, and they were low-profile enough to work. I have wider feet, still on the normal scale (a wide are usually way too wide) and these still allowed my toes wiggle room. I deducted one star because I had to wear two pairs of wool socks to keep my feet warm in the single-digit temps, and that's a lot of sock for any boot to hold, so they were a little tight in those situations. However, they're great boots for a slightly more moderate winter, and well-worth the price. Also, great customer service and shipping from Sierra Trading Post.

I own a wood fired pizza trailer and work outside everyday. I needed something that would keep my feet warm and dry but also could work in 10-12 hrs a day. These are the perfect height, and keep my feet completely warm and dry! The only issue I had was my feet hurt after being in them all day, which I wasn't surprised with, so I bought some $10 insoles and they're perfect! Love these boots, cute, true to size and a great price! I would definitely buy again.
