    These boots are NOT made for walking or hiking, but for my intended purpose they are fine. True to size; a bit wide for me, but I have a narrow foot. Really like the unusual color, lining, and extra laces. Haven't given them the "waterproof" test yet, but Sorels are a good brand.

    I have been looking for a comfortable waterproof boot for cleaning out our kennels for a long time and now I have found one. Although not ideal for hiking I can at least walk around with these with no discomfort and even after using a hose in my kennels for a couple of hours I am going home with dry feet. Too early to say if durable as well but no damage so far.

    Not for hiking but perfect for gardening, out in the wet, soggy ground, mucking around, good for cool and mildly cold weather (there is room for a heavy sock which I think any boot should have), perfect to throw them on to dash out to do errands as they are stylish and comfortable. Sorel quality is always top notch. A little stiff but not enough to take off a star.
