Verified Buyer Reviewed by Messy Hiker from Northwoods, USA on Thursday, April 10, 2014Got these in red and they are darling-- could not wait to get out in the rain wearing them. Was sadly disappointed that they run quite small. I wear a solid 7 in boots and usually a 6.5 in other shoes,so I ordered the 7. Woo. Really a squeeze -- there would be no way for me to actually wear these anywhere comfortably. Wanted to exchange, but sold out in size I needed. Boo. They are lovely and I would recommend, just order up a half or even a whole size.
Reviewed by Joanna from Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 29, 2013Got a great deal here at sierra trading post on rather expensive rain boots and ordered them in the cobalt blue, very cute with the polka dot laces. My walk to work at the hospital from where I park is 10 minutes and if it's pouring, my sneakers will be soaked so these will come in handy. Haven't worn them yet except to try on in the house as it hasn't rained (getting into cold weather with snow approaching). I have Sorel winter boots that I like so it's a great brand. Only gave 4 stars because it is stiff but hopefully will loosen up with wear.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by rumbera from Cordova, TN on Wednesday, February 6, 2013My Ecko boots of the exact same style, design and size feel so much more warm and comfy. I bought these cos i got a lot of compliments on my grey/pink Ecko boots and wanted them in a different color. Love the look, love the color but these are so stiff they hurt my ankle. Fit just stiff and uncomfortable. Sad to send em back ;-(
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tracey from Farmington Hills, Michigan on Wednesday, January 23, 2013I have gotten many compliments on my Red Rain boots, and the polka-dot shoe strings add flare. Absolutely love them...
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Winter Hiker from Carson City, NV on Tuesday, January 22, 2013I saw these on someone else and had to have a pair. I live in NV where winters are cold and snowy. I love these for snow shoeing and winter hiking. They have great traction on icy and muddy slopes and are waterproof, keeping feet dry. They are the cutest boot for wearing on a winter day runny errands and keep feet warm with winter socks. Top front of boot stiff at first and would rub with thin sock but a thicker sock prevents this.
Question & Answer
“These are rain boots, yet the specs say non-waterproof and all the other sites describe them as waterproof.”
At Sierra we do not describe a boot as waterproof unless it is completely waterproof. This boot is made of waterproof materials but is not seam taped, so it is possible the boot could leak at the seams if boot was submerged for a period of time.
“Do these boots run true to size? My daughter wears an 8.5 med., but they are out of stock. They are available in an 8 or 9, so I was wondering if one of those sizes might fit.”
According to our fit models the Sorel Tivoli Rain Boots do run true to size. Thanks for asking
