While the boots are light wright and easy to put on, the soles are substantial with readonalbe support. At 63, I have pretty banged up feet with bunions and the fit is great, not too tight or loose. "Normal feet" would have more room for thick socks, I surmise.

I live in Seattle and wear them when it's raining as well. They seem to be fairly weather resistant. Lighter weight than the other boot I have from Sorel (which is waterproof). I am going to wear these a lot.

I got the elephant color..... loved it! I wanted to give these boots a 5 stars but the grip isn't that good for what I needed still I love them. I love buying from Sierra Trading Post because of their prices, deals and their great service. Thank you guys for always making me so happy.
