    These boots worked well for me in Northern Virginia, but now that I live in Central Asia they are not nearly warm enough. I find it hard to believe they are rated to -25 degrees. My feet are cold in them when the temperature is about +15 degrees (Fahrenheit). However, I am one of those people whose hands and feet are always cold.

    I was in need of a light weight and very warm boot for winter. I found that is this boot, I have yet to check out the waterproof or wet conditions, it's just been cold. I can drive with these boots, I can not drive in my other boots they are too big and bulky. I was very suprised at how well they looked and they could funtion too. That was the topper. Sorel makes wonderful boots, I will be purchasing more Sorel products in the future.

    I read the reviews before ordering so I was prepared. They are hard, so I had inserts; I treated with two layers of waterproof product. Stayed outdoors three days, went on a 4 mile hike with snow shoes, had NO trouble. Feet stayed warm and dry. Read the reviews, it pays off!!! Good product for the price.
