Reviewed by Cat from Chicago, IL on Monday, June 17, 2013I like this shoe but it is too wide at the heel and the elastic across the top is not tight enough so my foot slips out. I wanted to wear theses without socks but my foot just comes out so have to wear a thick sock and it still feels loose. They seem to stretch out with wear as well. I wear size 8 1/2 Medium (not narrow). I put an insole in and that helps a bit.

I would recommend treating them with silicon or similar scotch guard (tm) type spray to keep them looking "out of the box". I get complements from most people when they notice them. I did replace the insoles (not totally necessary, as the ones they come with are substantial) for a little better instep fit. I would highly recommend these shoes as "around towners".

So I sought out another of the same pair bc they are my favorites!! Sorel is great quality and customer service too. I have sent a few pairs in for repairs and been delighted to end up with a new set both times. This particular pair is warm, cozy, and I get compliments EVERY time I wear them! The option to flip them down makes them great for all seasons! At least all the seasons in North Idaho! I love all my Sorel boots!s
