    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I fit an Orvis 44R perfectly. The sleeves on this suit were far too short for me (doubt if they could even have been lenghthened enough). It was also way too tight in the chest. I have trained with weights all my long life and that is a problem for me with some companies, but this seems unusually tight. So, if you're thin, small chested and short armed, you have here one very fine suit. The material and drape are excellent.

    Southwick makes very nice suits. The suit runs a little small to size, but it worked out well for me. Very traditional and will not go out of style.

    Reviews make clear that these are sized small. I needed a 39 S, so I was happy to see the 40 S. Fits perfectly. Southwick is a small New England maker sold by many finer shops. Good quality. Union made as well. Conservative 3 button design. Sleek, understated, nice drape. I'm very happy w/purchase

    I agree with the sizing issues. I'm 6'1", 180 and wear a 41/35 the 42 fits very well and the 36 pants are perfect with no alterations. They are definitely slimmer in the waist than some 35's I own. With a crisp tailored shirt and a bow tie, this is the perfect all round suit. Also the hand of this fabric is very nice.
