I bought this robe to wear to and from the shower at the gym. It was heavy and so bulky that I couldn't fit it in my gym bag. It was also poorly made with snags and loose strings hanging off of it. In addition, the material was very rough, similar to the gym towels that have been used and laundered a thousand times. I wanted something soft, comfortable and squishable and this was none of those things. I returned it.

I was delighted when this robe arrived - it was soft, luxuriant, and I was delighted that it was made from organic cotton. I washed it before wearing it, and when trying it on again after the wash, noticed quite a few hanging threads/strings. I wasn't too concerned about that, as they could be snipped off easily enough. I then noticed that the seam at the neck had come apart, right above the label. I had read the label when it arrived, and the seam was intact. One wash in cool water with regular detergent, with a tumble dry low was all that it took. I am very disappointed. I was half tempted to return it for another of the same, but after reading other reviews, will reluctantly continue my search for the perfect post-shower robe to double as a towel (my last one lasted 7yrs), even if I have to pay twice what this one cost, as it would be worth the money for the quality.

I really like this robe but it must be a second. One sleeve was a little longer than the other, also this sleeve pulled at the seam when I put it on. Makes me think just a sewing mistake. I can easily fix it. I purchased robes of Turkish cotton at the same time and they are softer and thicker even though this one was a little more expensive. Overall, I like the robe.

I like this robe. Love the fact it's organic. The only complain - no hanging loop on collar.

It feels a bit snug through the chest

Soft and easy to wear. I imagine I shall wear this a lot.

Also surprised by the number of unfinished/dangling threads. The material is very thin considering it is promoted as a standard, snugly robe. Thought maybe it might fluff-up after a washing but having read the other review (in which seams came undone) decided I won't press my luck. My last robe was from Sierra and lasted 5+ years - it was great! Going to return this one & try again.

Nice robe. Washed well. Recommend.

Robe had a lot of loose threads when it arrived. Several of the seams unraveled after one wash.
