It doesn't feel like there is much cushioning, but I was comfortable standing and bouncing around for 3 hours in a small powerboat, so the support must be there. Non skid is what you would expect from Sperry. The cream color has an odd ever so slight green tint to it, but love the pink accents. I am not sure I would have paid full retail price for these shoes, but at the STP price, a nice shoe for a reasonable price.

I was a bit leery about the tan color but after using them on four sails, they seem to be fine. I would purchase more in different colors if they were available. I live on a boat so this is important.
