Ordered a size 9 ( my size ) way to small . Returned them and received a size 10 - still to small ! Bear in mind I wear an 8 1/2 sometimes but usually a size 9 . I think the size is marked wrong , and I have never had a size issue with anything Sperry has made ! Great looking though [...] ! Dave R. Fayetteville Ar.

The Sperry Gold Cup edition thongs are a smart buy for use in a warm climate, such as Queensland, Australia where I live. Very well made and presented, and a great colour. Equally at home with shorts or jeans, they're perfect when wanting to 'dress up', but in a casual way. Make sure you note the U.S. sizing when ordering. Take a bit of time to wear in, but this is always the way with quality shoes, and they do become extremely comfortable. Can't find them in the shops here, so will probably buy another pair in the darker colour. Great shoe.

Sadness. This is how I feel knowing the world will not see my feet in these thongs. Twice I embarked on a quest for the proper size, twice I failed. Am I the male equivalent of Drizella or Anastasia, trying in vain to jam my hoof into an ill fitting mule? Am I merely a victim of a cobbler's madness? Trepidation has me in her icy grip!
