Sperry Top-Sider Gold Sandals - Thongs (For Men)

Sadness. This is how I feel knowing the world will not see my feet in these thongs. Twice I embarked on a quest for the proper size, twice I failed. Am I the male equivalent of Drizella or Anastasia, trying in vain to jam my hoof into an ill fitting mule? Am I merely a victim of a cobbler's madness? Trepidation has me in her icy grip! Will the third time be a charm? Stay tuned...

The Sperry Gold Cup edition thongs are a smart buy for use in a warm climate, such as Queensland, Australia where I live. Very well made and presented, and a great colour. Equally at home with shorts or jeans, they're perfect when wanting to 'dress up', but in a casual way. Make sure you note the U.S. sizing when ordering. Take a bit of time to wear in, but this is always the way with quality shoes, and they do become extremely comfortable. Can't find them in the shops here, so will probably buy another pair in the darker colour. Great shoe.

Feel and look great. I bought 9 pairs for myself and family. Sierra Trading Post beat the price on the internet, including auction sites.

Ordered a size 9 ( my size ) way to small . Returned them and received a size 10 - still to small ! Bear in mind I wear an 8 1/2 sometimes but usually a size 9 . I think the size is marked wrong , and I have never had a size issue with anything Sperry has made ! Great looking though [...] ! Dave R. Fayetteville Ar.

Loved the look of the shoe but had to return them too small

I had purchased a pair of Sperry Topsider flip flops earlier. I found that I had to buy a larger size than usual to get a good fit. My normal shoe size is 11. These shoes were purchased 2 sizes larger to get a good fit, at size 13. In the past Sperry's shoes have been a good fit, but it now take trial and error to find the correct size.

Sandals have a quality highend look and feel, they are functional as well.

I wanted a pair of thong sandals with a dressy, quality look, and the Top-Sider Gold sandals are it. They are well-made and surprisingly comfortable.

I wear them inside my apartment. They are a little tight, but I expect them to loosen up after a break-in period. The last pair of Top-Siders lasted 13 years. At first they were a little tight. After break-in they felt right.
