With 2 foot surgeries behind me, finding shoes that are comfortable and cute is a task. These are cushioned and bring compliments...really cute.

I bought these because of the name "Sperry." They are very cute and comforable. I have tried them on, but have not worn them yet.

The nautical look is attractive & stylish. With that being said my critique follows: the leather is stiff between my toes & rubs a bit uncomfortably,
the heel tapers & is narrow to stand on, I felt like a geisha when trying to to walk 3 blocks in them & resorted to shuffling to keep them on my feet.
Looks like they'll be used for short trips & not major walking events.

I thought these shoes would be great for a party or dinner or special occasion. They are a beautiful shoe and very well made. They are very well made with good quality and the jute rope trim on the heel is appealing. It's a dressy shoe, but casual, at the same time. The shoe did not fit my foot. The top braid of the shoe did not lay on my foot, accentuating a space between my foot and shoe. So, if I had to sum it up, I'm thinking a slim foot won't fill out this shoe. Then again, at the price of the shoe, it's worth it to try it, because it is a very pretty shoe.

About Sperry

After a slippery boat deck nearly sent him overboard, lifelong sailor and inventor Paul Sperry created the first pair of Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes in 1935. Determined to find a solution for better traction, Paul carved small grooves into the bottom of his rubber-soled shoes, called “siping.” His idea for the prototype was actually modeled after his dog’s paws, which had evolved to navigate slick, wet terrain. Today, Sperry boots and shoes combine siped rubber soles for outstanding traction with advanced technical fabrics to keep out the watery elements. Over the years, Sperry boat shoes have even become the official footwear of the U.S. Sailing Team, the Shimano Fishing Tour and the U.S. Naval Academy.
