Sperry Top-Sider SB1070 Boat Shoes (For Women)

This shoe is very sturdy and water repellent. It was too stiff for what I was looking for, but it is of high quality.

Works great on slippery surfaces of all kinds: rocks, steps, boats, docks, mountains, gardens. I wear them everywhere for walking. Great, non-aggressive tread does not pick up garden dirt or sand from the beach. Great looking for a shoe of this type. Very well constructed and they do breathe well. I've worn them happily in the Catskills and in the Florida Keys.

Nicely made shoes - wish they had fit. I have regular width feet, but with socks, these were a little too narrow to be comfortable.

gift for my mom, who slips alot, I hope they keep her from falling.

Sole wears out quickly if you use them for walking on pavement .... then they become slippery. But then this si a boat shoe and are sperbly desigh for that.

Normally, Sperry fits me exactly, and I have a lot of 9 1/2 size Sperry shoes which fit well. I put these on, and my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. So I recommend ordering a full size larger. I can't say much else about the shoe, because I had to take it off right away--if it was the right size, I might have liked it a lot. Seemed like it could be a good sport shoe, good beach shoe, good wet/dry shoe.

I work at an assisted living home and as you may well know am CONSTANTLY running. I bought these shoes hoping my feet would have great support and they do! The only drawback is the tongue. After wearing them only once above the tongue I was excruciatinly sore and swollen. I tied the shoes differently hoping this will help. I sure hope so, they're VERY comfortable on the soles of the feet and very, very cute and light! Wish me luck the second time around!
