    I live on the beach, the quick drying material is awesome for my dog. The only problem I had was initial sizing, its difficult to make smaller, so my dog slipped out once. Now its all good.

    I have tried many collars for my dogs and have found this style to be the best for everyday use. The fabric is quite nice, and we anticipate it will dry quickly after it gets wet. We cannot wait to try them when we have the pups out to the river.

    The wonderful thing about these martingale type collars is during the early training stages, when the dog does a quick reverse to slip out of the collar and potentially into traffic, the collar tightens just enough to capture the potential escapee. These collars don't tighten enough to prevent this. They are pretty and durable, but not suited for my plans.

    These collars are nice because while they aren't really a choke collar, they give a little extra pull and tighten a bit when the dog pulls away, so this prevent a dog slipping OUT of a collar, one of my biggest fears while walking a dog in the city or anywhere that you need them to stay right next to you. It is a good compromise between a traditional flat collar and a martingale style collar.

Collar is lightweight but seems very durable and is lightly padded; seems much more comfortable than regular old flat petstore collars. Metal ring where leash attaches is very durable too.
