Spooney Wear Ever Pencil Skirt - Stretch (For Women)

Really nice design, comfortable, stylish, BUT for some reason, neither skirt has a hem at the bottom! This makes the skirts at least two inches longer than I normally like a straight skirt to be, so I thought I would hem them up. Yet I can't do this on my old sewing machine (it does not sew on knit material) and I don't think I can do it by hand, either, as this material, I believe, cannot be made to make a neat hem since it is so non-wrinkling that I won't be able to press a hand-done hem so that it will look right. So I have done nothing. I just wear them as they came to me. What really bothers me is that the unfinished hem is already curling up a bit, though each skirt has been worn only twice. What happens next? Does the material begin to unravel?? Or does it just look shabby or unfinished? Was no-hem part of the design of the skirt? Must I wait until I wash the skirts to see how the bottom of the skirt holds up? I would appreciate an answer on this. I have been unable to contact the manufacturer about it. As for recommending these skirts to a friend, I would but only with a caveat: don't order unless you like unfinished hems on your skirts!

I'm returning this. I have to admit that the drape and cut made my lower half look great but it was too body hugging for my taste. If you're lumpy-bumpy, I'd avoid it. If you're in pretty good shape but modest, I'd avoid it. If you're in pretty good shape and want the whole world to know, go for it! Super soft fabric.

I am a teacher and I like to wear clothes that are comfortable and stylish. Spooney clothing fits the bill.

Maybe if you had not one wrinkle to hide and a cute tiny waist-----then this skirt could be for you! For me, either it will become a wicking slip, or I will return it.
