I bought three pairs of these pull-on pants looking for something warm and comfortable, yet somewhat stylish, for the winter months. I'm not sure what company these pants were manufactured for as the tags were cut out, but the pants are well-made and comfortable enough to stay in all day. I normally... Read More

  • “What is the inseam on size XS?”
Asked by Jumar from Atlanta on 12/8/2014 11:50:06 AM
    • I ordered two in large.

They are Lands End pants so you might check their website for a similar sizing in that style

    • No idea of the size of an XS, but the XL is about 29". BTW, these are very nice pants.

    • Sorry to say I cannot answer that. I bought an XL then L and lastly a M.The L and XL were actually the same size in length and girth. The M is probably

abiut 16 in the real world. I am only 5'2'" and the M size is a little long for my 28" inseam. The larger sizes were about 3" longer. I have no idea about XS.

      Good luck.

    • Don't know. I've only gotten the small. No idea what color/size you got, but can say this.... OTHERS have said (and I've also experienced a bit of this) that the same size can vary depending on color. I can only say that 'USUALLY', they run big (small for size 6 - 8 is roomy). Inseam is usually in the 30" - 32" range for a small.

    • Sorry, I answered last that the inseam was 30 - 32. The one I measured may have been the longer of colors, so say 30" to be safe. A couple have been in the 27 - 28" range, so I can only wear those tucked inside boots or lounging around the house. It's a matter of preference, I won't wear pants above the ankle. I'm 5'3" but legs a bit long for my size. But they are all super-comfy. :-D

    • I'm so sorry, I cannot answer. I always have to shorten pants, and have already done that with this pair, so can't help you. My best guess is that it was about 29".

    • The pants are not sized correctly. If I were you I would order a couple and see one fits. You may have an exchange or more to get the right fit.

    • Hi...i measure about 37" which i think is really generous for a small.

    • I have purchased sizes XL, L, and M. So all I can do is estimate your information.

Size XLp (size 18-20 Hip 50" Inseam 27

      Size L (sz 14-16) Hip 50" Inseam 29.5

      Size M (10-12) Hip 47" Inseam 30.5

No wonder these were second. Yes, the hip on both L and XL is exactly the same. My guess is that the S is about 44-45". They do say it is a relaxed fit. I purchased mine according to the chart, and as you can see, it took 3 tries to get a fit. I hope this helps. Also, they do not shrink.

    • I have a pair of these. I usually wear size 6 and sometimes an 8 (depends on the brand). In Land's End, usually a "small". Waist is 33 and hips are 37-38. These pants fit me nicely.
      Hope this helps.

Asked by Emmy from California on 8/8/2014 2:35:11 PM
    • Emmy, my XL/P corduroy pants have a 26" inseam. I'm 5'6" tall and this fits me perfectly. Hope this helps. PS love these pants, so well made and so soft and comfortable and inexpensive. I have 5 prs.

    • The inseam (from crotch to bottom of leg) is 33 inches on the beige medium P (petite). The inseam varies by an inch or two depending on the color of the pant. The light tan color medium pant has a smaller fit than the other colors but the inseam is about the same.

I am sorry that I do not know the R inseam.

    • Hello,
I purchased a "regular" length. I am 5' 5" tall and the length is fine with regular (not heels) shoes.

    • I am 5'6" tall (about 130 lbs -125); the Regular length in medium fits me perfectly. I once received a Petite medium accidentally & it was too short . ( I own about a dozen pairs of these - be forewarned that the sizing is inconsistent, but, generally these pants run large). Hope that helps!

      R means Regular

    • The length of the "R" are 28.5". The inseam is 13". These pants run large. I sized down and they are plenty roomy, which I like. I am 5'5" and they are a good fit in the length, coming over my ankle and onto the shoe. I don't know the length of the "P" since I only ordered R.

    • Wow, it has been a while since I purchased these. I actually bought two pair because they were so inexpensive. One pair which is labeled Med. Petite has an inseam of 313/4 inches, which we know, is not a petite length. I still have it in my sewing alterations basket. The other pair which I think was a regular length, also required shortening, but I don't think there was any difference between the two. I think maybe that is why they are seconds. I also think the pants run either true to size, or slightly smaller. If you are able to shorten them yourself, I think I'd go with regular because clearly, these were labeled wrong. I mean, who knows, you might get exactly what you are looking for but I don't think you can count on it.

I hope that helps a little.

  • “Why are they seconds?”
Asked by Tessie from South Carolina on 10/25/2013 5:25:42 AM
    • These are items with barely perceptible blemishes or slight irregularities that do not affect fit, performance or longevity such as an error in the stitching or a slight fading of the product’s color. Labels on 2nds are usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer, and 2nds are often offered at lower prices.
