This is a great shirt for jumping up & heading outside on a chilly morning. I love the thumb holes & extra material that keep hands warm while allowing you to use your fingers for music, phone, picking up dog poop, etc. it's also very comfortable.

Love this top for walks, hiking, even bicycling. I found the neck to be a bit confining when it was zippered all the way up but otherwise, it would definitely be a five-star. I usually run between a Small and a Medium. This top fit fine in a Small so don't hesitate to size down.

I've been looking for SportHill tops since last winter. My husband got one for xmas and he loved it. I was really impressed with the quality and weight of the material. I'm 5'10", 135, and seem to be inbetween a small and medium -- should have ordered both to decide at home. I got the medium and it's a bit big -- not sure if it's too big, don't want it to let in lots of cold air during activities. Haven't worn it yet, since it's still warm, but looking forward to it!
    • Best Uses: Winter biking, Winter Hikingrunning, X-C Skiing
    • Cons: runs a little big, Small Back Pocket
    • Pros: Good Quality, Heavy Weight

Sporthill makes some nice stuff. I own a number of tops and pants. I like the look and color of this shirt online and quickly purchased it. However, it was not quite what I expected. It's a bit looser than other Sporthill shirts I own. (I am a size 6 and I normally order Sporthill medium.) I am also not a fan of the collar. Even though it's a zip top, it's very wide. I think it's designed to be able to put your chin inside.. maybe cover your mouth.. ? It just felt odd to me. I am returning this item because there are better tops.

    • On my average size body and 5 ft. 4 inch frame, the sleeves are long, coming down over the top of my hands but it looked and felt fine and I like the thumb holes.

About SportHill

The SportHill apparel brand traces its roots to founder Jim Hill’s career as a world-class runner. Unhappy with the cotton and nylon layers he competed in during his time as an All-American at the University of Oregon, Hill began a search for apparel that would stand up to the demands of elite athletes. This search led Hill to create his own clothing line designed to provide top-flight performance in demanding conditions. SportHill clothing introduced 3SP fabric to the industry, which soon established a reputation as the fastest drying fabric in the world, and SportHill pants and shirts carry on the brand’s legacy of engineering apparel that delivers unparalleled quality and performance.
