Use this jacket in temps down to -10. When it's really cold, I wear a thicker wicking long underwear top. Great jacket if you're moving.
Reviewed by Explorer extraordinaire from Maine on Thursday, April 25, 2013I love how light and packable it is. As we are taking only hand baggae this is a key factor. I also love the appearance of the jacket and the optional hood.I am surprized that such a lightweight jacket can be so warm.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by dubasie from lincoln, ne on Friday, January 11, 2013I wore this for a long run last weekend with 15 degree temps and 15 mile per hour wind in my face, and the coat kept me warm. I like how lightweight it is. My only complaint is that it is too snug right at the hips. I always wear size 4-6 in pants and tops, yet it is snug. So, i would recommend ordering a size larger than normal.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Karen the runner from New Hampshire on Wednesday, December 12, 2012With two light layers underneath, I was still warm when it was 14 degrees and windy. Great Jacket!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ellie in wi from La Crosse WI on Monday, December 3, 2012I love sporthill. I have a quarter zip that is a favorite for cold weather running. But needed an outer layer for windier days. This is perfect. Nice ventilation in the back so I don't overheat. Cuff liners are long so cover hands.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Avid Runner from Missoula, MT on Tuesday, November 6, 2012I live in Montana and this coat is excellent for weather below 35 degrees. I stay very warm with just a light running shirt underneath. It protects from the rain/snow and wind while out running and is visible in the dark. I am very happy with this jacket.
