As shorts, way too short. As long pants, nice. Will use for air travel, Sunday pants, sightseeing. Roomy fit. Comfortable cotton.

The price on these pants was fantastic. Although they are made from a heavy material, the style and quality are great for cooler outdoor weather and I am very pleased with these pants.

This is a great product especially for traveling. Cool shorts during the day and on the beach - convert easily to trousers for less casual evening wear.

I use these during transition weather. Pants for cold mornings and business casual at the office, then zip off the legs before heading home at the end of the day.

I will be backpacking with the Boy Scouts and needed the right clothing. These pants fit the bill do to the design and ability to turn them into shorts. I haven't had a change to use them yet, but the shake down hick is quickly approaching.

I wasn't expecting too much from these, and I wasn't disappointed? They're comfortable enough, with the exception being that the inseam on the shorts is a bit short for my taste. Overall, they're a fairly average cut, with seemingly average material. Better than the generic chain-store type of stuff, but nothing exceptional either. I'll probably use them fro work and around town. But being all cotton, they probably won't see much trail use.

About the second or third round of use of shorts/ longs the tiny zippers that attach the legs failed. It was a frustrating ordeal and took valuable time while trying to get ready for a trip. I just threw the legs in the garbage.
