    The fit was great and is very comfortable. The only problem I have is when you turn these into shorts. Its a bit short and goes a little above my knee which is a little too high for me. I prefer them to cover my knees. Other than that I have no problems with them.

    I felt the pants were a good fit around the waist. The problem is the fit around the thighs. I have larger thighs I guess, and the pants were a little bit of a snug fit. You would think a size 42 would have a larger design on the legs. I haven't used them for scrambling or uphill use, but they did feel ok on even ground. I do like the lightweight feel.

    I hit the trails early when it's cool and when the heat of day the happens I can instantly get comfortable. Other convertible products need hemming. Not these. Love the fact that they come in a specific length. Read a review that said the pockets were too short but I find them adequate with no need for extra depth and there are enough of them.
