    I walked around 3 miles on the level 0 insert the first time out--and did feel the different muscles working in the back of my legs. Will alternate these with my other hiking shoes to get a different workout. Very happy with purchase.

    I worried about the breaking in period as these shoes are stiff, but have not had any concerns at all. I have been wearing them daily for weeks now and they have been extemely comfortable. I have not experience the tiredness I usually get after walking long periods of time. I am excited about staying energized when incorporating new activities to my routine. Having great shoes makes all the difference in the world.

    Very comfortable, nice roller action when walking. I little loose in the heel, but I laced them tighter at the top. I have a wide foot at the ball, but narrow heel. I went for a 4 mile walk right out of the box and they performed great. No complaints.

    I recommend you order 1/2 size up. Width is good. Make sure you start with the "zero" insoles because these shoes definitely require a break in period. I use them about twice a week but never 2 days in a row. I get the same back support I do with my MBTs. I will continue to purchase Springboost shoes.

    this had to have beeen the heaviest shoe I have ever worn. I am an avid wlker/light hiker and there is no way I could wear these shoes longer than an hour. My feet got tired carrying them.
