    I need to buy an water proof insulated jacket which could provide sufficient instant insulation after exting a shopping mall in winter (huge drop in temperature, typical Canadian life) and during cold winter walk after supper. This jacket fit the bill just right. I do not recommend this jacket for actual sking though due to too much insulation unless you are a slow skier and plan to stay on the snow for a long period of time
