order a size larger if you want extra room. Otherwise - fits snug!

I was extremely disappointed in that this coat was purchased for skiing, however it is only a shell and not warm enough. I have worn my Northface under it and both layers together was warm, but this Spyder coat is tailored and snug and there's not a lot of room to wear anything underneath. Had I known, I would not have purchased -- or i would have purchased a size up. Great coat for a shell though. Spyder does make a good product.

Coat is great looking on but you need one or two sizes bigger to fit across chest. I felt very cold in it and will need to use extra layers skiing in the winter. Spring skiing might be a better time for this coat.

Wish I had been able to keep it, but couldn't even zip it up!

This is a beautiful coat, with lots of cool features, including the colors, stitching, and even the spiders - it just LOOKS very cool. So it's really the perfect product... But I should have listened to the size 10 advice... I'm a size 12 and was hoping, but to no avail. I'm pretty certain the other review is right - size 10 for the xtra large. Size 12 & over, sadly, need not apply;-(

Looks fabulous, but not sized appropriately. I am a size 14; I ordered the XL but couldn't zip up the jacket! Like other reviewers, I'd recommend the XL for someone who is a size 10/12, especially since this is a shell.

Liked the style of the jacket. Was very shocked that it did not fit at all. WAY to SMALL. I was wondering if it was mis-marked. I don't see how any adult would fit into this.

Runs really tiny. I bought womens XL and am a perfect 14. I could barely zip it closed. No room for anything but T shirt underneath and not really that. And the jacket is not insulated. I bought a Lowes jacket in womens L not XL and it fit perfectly. I am a 14 in the Spyder Diamond jacket. The jacket is stylish, of high quality and well made and durable. But if you usually wear a 10, buy the XL. Particularly if you want to wear a sweater underneath. Even an 8 would not go wrong with the XL. The smaller sizes might fit children. I would recommend to a friend, but only if she is a size 10 or smaller.
