    Took these out to Alta this past week - held up well in 10F temps with just one layer underneath. Sierra really came through with the price, these retail for ~200 in the ski shops, but with the sale and coupons these were [$]! For the intermediate/advanced skier, its not going to get any better than Spyder's 20K stuff. Only Arcteryx really compares, and those cost thre times as much as these.

    I originally ordered the spyder stinger pants, but they were too light weight. The spyder dare pants are what I had in mind when I started shopping for ski pants. They look great, fit great and have all the right features. They are heavier and are warm even in very cold weather. I am very happy with them!
