“Comfortable; Bulletproof”

“The XL fits closer to a large - hence the "fits too small" rating. I knew that before I bought these, so it's not a problem. I'm 6'2", 215 lbs. and normally wear a large in Sypder pants. I ordered the XL and they fit well - I'd say in between an XL and large. (I like my ski pants to fit comfortably loose, but not baggy.) The finish and attention to detail are what you'd expect from top-of-the-line Sypder gear. Great overall engineering. Very beefy material and even beefier reinforcements on the insides over the ankles where your ski boots rub together. Even though these pants are heavy duty, the articulation pleats and design make them very comfortable. Please note, if you like lots of pockets, you might want to try a different Spyder line. The Davos have only two regular pockets and a third small pocket above left the knee. This is fine for me as I don't carry many extras on the hill with me. I haven't made my mind up about the rubber discs implanted in the pants over the knees. They add weight for questionable benefit. I would not let it stop you from buying the pants, however. I haven't seen an equal to these pants.”
