    This is an amazing looking jacket - the colors are beautiful together (black & a dark mustard). This would be a great jacket - but there is no hood (which makes it useless for wet weather and skiing).

    This is a great light weight spring skiing jacket. It was exactly what I was looking for and at a good price. Once again Spyder comes through with a versatile jacket with lots of pockets. Just wish it had a stow away hood (comes with no hood)

    I took this jacket skiing in Colorado in Feb '10. Best to think of it as a shell (ie. need to layer underneath) rather than a full on jacket. I found it really comfortable and love the number of pockets. I didn't wear it when the crew went tree skiing, because I was scared of ripping it. Otherwise it was great.

    I am 6'0' 195lbs and wear 44r. Fits a bit tight to me especially if layered with a fleece jacket. Order a size up and you will love it. I wear mine mostly around town and really like all the pockets to stow gear...gloves,hat,earphones,iphone,wallet,tactical light,chapstick,tea,etc.

    I bought this coat having made the mistake of not seeing in at a local store first. I'm a skier and was looking for a coat that was insulated, warm and would work well for outdoor play in the snow with my kids and be good for skiing. This coat is just a shell! certainly not worth the money for cold winter protection.

    I have always liked the style and function of Spyder and this jacket is no exception. they think of lots of handy user friendly things, like the coily cord with goggle wiper attached. Great fabric, color, style. This is vacation use for me, so will last a long time. If Porsche included a ski jacket with their car, this would be it.
