I'm sure the jacket will be warm and wonderful; however I live in 80 degree Florida and will not be able to test it out until our trip to Snowmass, CO on 1/17. It seems like a great jacket and I am anxious for our trip! As mentioned in another review, Spyder tends to run small but this one does not. I normally wear a 6 or 8. I tried on an 8 in another style Spyder jacket in a store and it barely fit. So based on that, I ordered a 10 in this jacket. The 10 in this jacket is too large for me. Luckily, there are still other sizes in stock, so I will be exchanging today.

I am an Aussie Size 10-12 and I ordered this in a US10. This size is perfect - not too tight so you can wear a jumper underneath but not too big that you feel like you are swimming in it. If you are more on the 8/10 size I would order a size smaller (US8). Colour is as good as picture and jacket very well made. Feels warm and comfortable.

I bought this coat to go skiing in Colorado. It has arm vents which is great for when the sun comes out on the mountain and a snow skirt thats good for when you fall. It is incredibly warm. The wind picked up but I couldn't feel it through my coat at all. It has a fair amount of pockets for stashing gear and it is pretty easy to move in. I took someone else's advice on this site and ordered a size bigger and it fit perfectly.

Spyder usually runs small, but this jacket doesn't. As a result I found it a bit bulky but that might be b/c I ordered too big of size. In general, great color, great looking and if you get the right size, you'll love it.
