    After all I heard about Spyder and the supposed high end nature of their garments was disappointed in wind resistance at the top of the mountain on the ski lift.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I ordered this jacket in Large as this is what I usually wear. It was huge on me. I returned it and got Medium. It is perfect. I'm 6.2 200lbs. and large was just to large. There is no insulation it is just a shell so make sure if you want to stay warm wear a fleece under the jacket.

    we live in the pac. northwest and you need something versatile for playing in the snow and every day use in the constant rain or hiking up mnt. rain. i bought it for my 18 year-old 6'2" son and he couldnt be happier. he wanted something to match his long torsoe, although i think for the full price the hood is under enginered.thank goodness for sierra trading post
