“These are an excellent pant for snow use. Usually, I layer clothing for cold activities. However, these are shell and insulation in a single package. This is okay because of proper venting. Wonderfully, there is still room in the pant to wear a insulating fleece layer for times of lesser activity, i.e. night. The price on these CANNOT be beat! I got two pair applying my axiom of when you find something you like, get two of them. Stay warm!”
