Spyder Shock Snowsport Pants - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

Have not tested product on the slopes yet, but can't wait to do so. The fit is great. Materials and construction consistent with high quality of previous Spyder products. I normally wear size 6-8 in jeans and dress pants, but ordered a 12 in these pants because I want to have extra room for base layers and tucking in tops and still have a loose comfy fit. I love the removable suspenders which will keep these pants in place no matter how I move/fall. :) The best thing about the fit for my body type (I have no hips) is that even though I ordered 2 sizes up, the cut is straight through the hips so that there isn't any billowing clown pants effect around the hips/rear end like some other women snow pants. The orangey red color is very bright and loud...but I wanted that to stand out and be easily found amongst the sea of black cloaked boarders/skiers on the mountain.

I wore these pants most of this past week: one night of tubing, two days of learning to snowboard (and thus, sitting on my butt a lot!), and one night of sledding. They were extremely comfortable and I was warm and dry!

I thought the outer fabric was too thin and you can see the outline of inner lining of the pockets! I returned the item the Davos Spider pants are much better. I bought a pair in white and love them

These pants were so warm and comfortable even in 5 degree weather in Vermont. Can't say enough about how waterproof and warm they were.

Great pair of ski pants, just what we were looking for. Make sure to order at least one size larger since this product tends to run small. Other than that, these ski pants are terrific and would recommend these to any downhill enthusiast.

These are super stylish pants that have a great fit. They are more relaxed through the hip and leg, but have a straight leg. There is plenty of room for movement and a layer underneath without looking bulky. I would agree to order a size up for a good fit.

I owned many ski pants , and these are certainly not cheap. This is one instance where you get quality for what you pay. Moreover, the discounted price on Sierra cannot be beat.

No bulk but warm warm warm! Straighter cut from waist to lower hip is very comfortable. One of few pants I've found that DON'T have a 'curvy women's figure' cut. I have some shape but the 'curvy' (small, high-wasit big through the hips) cut is just uncomfortable and restrictive. Yes, the length may be 'too long' for some but it looks more modern and I prefer the longer length to picking snow and ice out of my boot buckles.
