    This jacket is supposed to be waterproof and insulated...I'm sure it probably is from the product info on the tags. Even though it was stylish and felt true to size, I returned it and kept a different Spyder jacket that matched my ski pants better and had a few more technical features overall.

    This jacket kept me warm while skiing in near zero degree F temps, without being bulky. It also kept me dry skiing in rain. Inexplicable why an otherwise technical and expensive jacket does not have hand gaiters or a lined hood made of the same material as the jacket exterior fabric. Instead the hood is thin lining material and way too small to fit over a helmet. Also for the price, I think zippers should be taped.

    I ordered a size 12 (that was the only size left) and I was very worried it would be to large as I am typically a size 4/SM for regular day wear. I was shocked that it fit me perfectly!! I would say it runs VERY small. It has great style and lots of pockets. Haven't used it skiing yet, but so far, so good.
