Spyder Trucker Systems Jacket - 3-in-1 (For Men)

Closeouts. Spyder's Trucker systems jacket skips the open road and heads straight for the mountains. Inside the critical seam-sealed tweed shell is a removable soft shell shirt with fleece backing.

I am 6"2", 210 lbs, and had ordered a large. The inner jacket is a bit snug on me. The other thing is that although the inner jacket attaches to the shell, it does not have zippers to do so. Other 3-in-1 jackets I have had (Columbia, Mountain Hard Wear) allowed you to zip the inner jacket to the outer, making it an integral system. It is almost as if you grabbed two different jackets, and put them on one at a time. That being said, and based on limited exposure, the two Spyder jackets combined seemed very warm. I ended up returning this jacket.

This jacket is everything I wanted it to be except for two things. The snow skirt has no tabs to attach to pants and the interior mesh pocket has no closure other than an elasticized top. Other than that it did exactly what a good ski jacket is supposed to do. It kept me warm, dry, and mobile.

This is a great jacket! The material is awesome. It has an inner removable shirt/jacket. It is more of a shirt, but provides a good amount of insulation. If you have it in, it would be a little difficult to get the jacket on with a sweater or something bulky on under it. However, you can wear it alone or the shell alone, so you are basically getting two jackets for the price of one. The inner snow guard is a good addition, I just wish it secured a little tighter. The only other thing I wish the jacket had was a draw string around the waist that could cinch. It has one at the bottom if the jacket, but I would like one at the waist as well. Small request. Lastly, I bought a large. I am 5'9" and about 155. It is a tiny big on me. I debated on getting a medium, but was afraid it would be too small. I wish I had the chance to try it on before purchase, but such is the peril of on-line shopping. I can deal with the large. I'm an advanced skier and can't wait to get it out in the mountains this season.
