This knife is awesome. The blade is incredibly sharp. The Emerson trick to pull knife from pocket while extracting the blade is not difficult to master. I carry this knife with me daily. Clip holds well onto pocket.

Working on a shipping dock I need a good sharp blade. This baby is sharp but, not any metal in the body of this knife (plastic/composit) only time will tell if it will survive being dropped.

I have been interested in Emerson knives since I first read about them and was amazed and pleased when I finally got one. They are superior to automatic knives which I have plenty of and truly useful.

I have owned this knife, and its larger version not shown, for a few years. I actually find this smaller version to be more useful. I really have been happy with Spyderco products in general. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Time-tested spyderco sheepsfoot blade design is excellent for cutting rope in precarious situations or emergencies. Comfortable handle. Emerson opener feature works very well - the blade seems to jump out of your pocket and snap open when you need it. This feature works well on jeans and light weight nylon shorts. I'm going to practice a bit to make sure I can deploy the knife safely.
