“Great feel, small blade”

“The handle is amazingly comfortable. The quality is the usual Spyderco fit and finish. The blade clearly says Seki City, Japan on one side, and Spyderco VG-10 on the other. I got the Serrated edge, and it's using Spyderco's own serration, which are more "pointy" and staggered than the generic. My complaints are minor: the blade is somewhat small compared to the length of the handle... and it's not that the blade is all that small, but that the handle is longer than one might expect. The shape is very ergonomic, with cutouts that seem to predict where your fingers want to go. I was surprised that the Spyderco hole in the blade was not fully exposed when closed (a small amount is covered by the handle, but one will never notice in practice; it doesn't affect usage at all). B/c the handle is so long, it takes some maneuvering to figure out the right place in your pocket to carry. But it's light, it's well constructed, and comfortable. The cool look, if unique and a touch odd, is a pleasant bonus.”
