These are lovely earrings that I would have liked to keep. However, the lack of a clasp means that I'd need to twist the metal sideways to open the hoop whenever I wanted to put the earrings on or take them off. I just don't trust that the metal would hold up to that kind of twisting year after year.

I like them. They look good, are very cheap (80% off), and don't fall out. I don't have to worry about losing them. My 9 mo old daughter tried to pull on them and they bend a little but don't hurt my ear because of it. They are a little hard to get on and off due to style of closure, but the bending helps a lot. I sleep in them, shower, exercise and will wear them for weeks at a time. A couple times (after exercise?), I've noticed a little dark oxidation on my lobes, but it rubs right off.

I liked the earrings until the day I pulled off my motorcycle helmet and one got caught on the inside of the helmet. The earring ended up being twisted so that the spiraled part was forced inside my left earlobe. Removing it was difficult because the opening mechanism also was inside my earlobe, which began to bleed. Although this was a freak accident, still I think you should be warned that the edges of the spiral design are sharp enough to cut your ear.

Good size. not too big or too small. The twist is nice. Wish they were all gold, but hey, the price is good. Oh yeah, they are a bit difficult to get on and off and they may break in time because of that aspect of there design.
