    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This seems to have worked well for the other women who reviewed it, and I was looking for a white or ivory stretch silk blouse to wear under suit jackets, so I took a chance and ordered it. The styling in my mind just made me feel like I was in a Broadway musical, so it went back. It is a very bright white, and very shiny, so while the fabric quality and fit is quite nice, I could have overlooked the first 2 strikes against it but for the ruffles above the cuffs. In the end I just felt like too much like an extra in "Mamma Mia" (the ABBA musical). For someone who is used to wearing ruffles on their blouses it might work-I'm just a little more on the conservative/classic side in what I wear.

    I assumed this blouse would be pretty, but it was such a pleasant surprise to pull this out of the box and find it to be so elegant and rich looking. It fits beautifully and is soft and feminine. Excellent quality fabric and construction.

    Stylish and attractive bluse. I love all the Starington products because the blouses all seem to be well tailored to flatter a woman's torso. The silk sheen and the puckered designs add to the allure of this blouse. It is an eye-catcher.
