Finding the right fit for your feet is not always a matter of simply
"knowing your shoe size." Here are some great ways to ensure a good boot fit:
The best time to try on boots is late in the afternoon because your
feet are largest at this time of the day. When trying on your boots,
you should wear the same type of sock you would normally wear with your boots.
It is a general rule that most western boot wearer's use a mid-weight
sock. You should be able to adjust the fit slightly, depending upon
the weight of sock you wear. Please take this into consideration when
ordering.
Your new boots should feel snug, but not tight. They will break in over
time, but they will not stretch very much. The widest part of your foot,
usually the ball of the foot should fit into the widest part of the boot.
When you walk, there should be a slight lift in the heel (approximately 1/2").
No lift means the boots are probably too tight and a dramatic lift means the
boots are probably too generous.
It is our goal to make your purchase easy and worry free.
Enjoy your new boots from Sierra Trading Post.
