I have needed a new thermos for quite a while since my old one started leaking! This one definitely keeps coffee and other beverages very hot for hours on end! I am very pleased with this product and the only thing I wish it had is a handle! My old thermos was much easier to pick up and pour the coffee because of its handle!
The lack of a handle is just a minor inconvenience and I am very pleased with this product!
I am also very pleased with Sierra Teading Post's timely shipping! I received this item within three days after ordering it! That is the quickest I've ever received a product ordered online!

All thermoses today are made 18/8 stainless steel. I looked at every major brand, and no one was offering 18/10 steel. Normally this would not be a problem, but if you drink tea, especially white tea, this is a disaster. When you pour white tea into an 18/8 stainless steel thermos, after about 15 or 20 minutes it turns black and tastes disgusting. This is some type of acid reaction with the steel of the thermos bottle. Sigg has the fortunate good sense to line even their stainless steel bottles with some type of non toxic barrier liner that prevents any type of reaction or food migration into your drink. This acidic reaction is even possible with coffee but just doesn't seem as noticeable because coffee is black already. Oh, and by the way, this thermos keeps things hot for a very long time. After seven hours, I almost burnt my mouth because I didn't think of the tea would be that hot anymore. One more thing... This thermos looks beautiful and is very well-made.

looks good - tried out seal and has held water without leaking
the push button pour spout is nice to use with liquid to avoid opening and letting out heat- but I will avoid using if there are noodles Just in case they get stuck in there
for 5 stars I would have to try it on a few trips and have no leaks/ keep warm
nowhere near the quality of my 25 year old Nissan vacuum bottle (which finally lost vacuum and didn't keep things hot)- but looks good
