Steinbock Insbruck Coat - Wool-Cashmere (For Men)

Firstly, I love this coat. The style, the feel, the quality of it is great. However, finding the right size was challenging and I did have to exchange my initial order for a size smaller and it is still is long in the sleeve, although acceptable.

Though the design is nice, it is not executed well. The fabric doesn't have much form and so presents a sloppy, untailored look. It's also too lightweight for its intended use of keeping one warm.

This is my third Steinbock coat, each for a different season. All are fantastic quality: superior tailoring, incredible fabric, classic yet current styling. This coat can be dressed up or down, and is a perfect weight for Spring and Fall. The STP price is unbelievable, This is a rare opportunity to obtain a top-of-the-line garment at a bottom-of-the-line price.

The Steinbock Insbruck Coat has very good appearance, with the following noted: the european size 50 fit like a 42 Regular with an overall trim cut. The zipper is opposite of what you might expect, zip with the left hand. The material is similar to a pea coat, but more substantial and better looking. Good for mild winter walks, not so much the spring.

I purchased this coat for my husband after he decided to replace his 7-year Burberry coat. This coat is a clear winner! Very warm, very stylish, very european-cut, and above all, true to size: he is rather big and tall and the size 52 he got is a perfect fit. Thank you for the great brands you carry, Sierra!

It's a very nice coat; both fabric and finishing are of fine quality. It would all have been great if not for the size. My husband wears Italian coats in size 50 which translates to US 40 (in truth, it's more like US 38). We bought this Steinbock coat in European 46 (US 36) and it was huge in a torso, about 2 sizes too large. That's not right.

I was planning to use the Coat as a dress coat.Fairly light weight and seemed warm.I will be returning it because of the dark green accent color of the inside the fold over flap and underside of the collar are dark green. The flap hangs open when not buttoned or zipped all the way to the top, showing as the green color in the picture.I had call STP to see if the picture was correct, they said there was no green just a maroon liner - and there is a maroon liner - the person checking just didn't bother checking the flap.It is disappointing, as it is otherwise a nice coat.

The catalogue said to order one size small. I did and had to send it back because it was very small. Ordered my regular size and it was still too small. Very disappointing, because this is a very nice coat, and I'm sure I would have enjoyed it if it had fit.

It's a good coat at a good price. What more can you ask for?

This is a very nice, versatile coat. I purchased it for my husband, as he did not have a warm dress coat for going out (just a leather coat). This fits the bill! It can be dressy or casual, is warm and made with beatiful material, and his normal size 42 will fit over a suit coat. A great value.
