    I love the attention to detail, like the velvet lining the inside of the button plackets. It IS long, but as I'm tall that is a plus for me. I think I may stitch down the back pleat at about the waist to add a little more shape to the back - otherwise the pleat is open all the way from the shoulder down which is a little too unstructured for my taste - especially given the detailed front.

    This coat is beautiful. I studied the other offerings a long time before deciding on this one and I made a good choice. I'm 5'9" and love the longer length of the sleeves and of the coat itself. The cut is not restrictive when striding through the cold. This coat achieves the difficult combination of decorative AND functional. Very happy to have a warm, elegant coat for finer nights out.
