Steinbock Quilted Down Jacket (For Women)

Use my coat daily since the weather has been extremely cold. It keeps me very warm and I am reluctant to take it off even after coming in from out of the weather it is so comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

I ended up returing this because I wanted something with more feminine curves.

I plan to use on those extreme below zero windy days going back and forth to work. The construction is well done using small stitches, double stitching where needed like the zipper and the down loft is extremely lightweight and non-bulky. When I tried the coat on the bottom zipper stop snapped off but because the zipper fabric is fairly stiff I can still zip but may need to take to tailor. All in all, a beautiful coat!

This coat just didn't suit me. The fit was a little too long, and the puffiness was just too much for my 5'2" frame. I love Steinbock, but not this time.

This is one warm coat! I really like the hood. For a casual jacket of this type, it is surprisingly flattering and attractive. It keeps out the wind very well and ordering my usual size, I have room for layers underneath. Great pockets on this one. There is fantastic warmth without making me look like a blimp. As with all Steinbock products, the workmanship is perfect with lots of nice little touches that make wearing their clothes a pleasure. This looks quite stylish. I am thrilled with mine.

The second one I have purchased. The "beige" is really a beautiful caramel and quite attractive. Thanks again Sierra!

This is a pretty and different jacket. It is very comfortable and can go from casual weekends to over a suit during the week.

We bought our first coat for my mohter-in-law and she instantly loved it! Keeps her very warm here in the cold Chicago winter. My wife (a fur queen)later purchased one and is so inpressed that I have not seen one of hr 4 furs since her coat arrived. THe only negative is the zipper. Sierra was very understanding when we called recently to report that my mother-in-law's zipper had broken. Very good about replacing. My wife is always having to watch her zipper. Other than that, this is an excellent coat.

After washing and hanging to dry, it looks like new. And, yes it without the dryer. I liked it so much I bought another one in a different color! Can't say enough about this down jacket. It has it all.

Although pricey for this type of jacket, the style is lovely and the jacket will be enjoyed for many years to come. It is warm but not huge and puffy like so many down coats.
